Join us and GHK Garden Educator Cactus Kellie to prepare the Mt. Diablo Elementary garden for the Spring!

About the Garden: The beloved MDE Garden was established seven years ago. Over the years, it has attracted the support of the whole MDE community, and even has it's own Facebook Page which you should absolutely check out (MDE School Garden)! The garden is full of colorful projects and plant life of all kinds. Growing Healthy Kids Garden Class, taught by Garden Educator Cactus Kellie, serves all grade levels and meets in the garden throughout the year. The garden is a cared for Growing Healthy Kids staff, community members, and students. 

Help needed: At this work day, volunteers will:

• Garden beautification

• Mulching

• Trimming and preparing for Spring!
