Join us for a garden volunteer day at Strandwood Elementary!

About the Garden Program: Growing Healthy Kids Garden Class made its debut at Strandwood Elementary this year! In garden class with Mr. Sam, students at all grade levels have the opportunity to study and connect with the nature. Growing Healthy Kids proven curriculum turns the world into a safe learning environment where students can taste new foods, observe new phenomena, and get their hands dirty. To make this possible,  Growing Healthy Kids has been grateful to work with families, school staff, organization partners, and community members to build the Strandwood Garden! For this event, some supplies are being donated by our partners at Sloat Garden Center.
