Valle Verde Workday

Earn service hours by volunteering at Valle Verde Elementary School by volunteering in the school garden! This is a great way to get involved in your community, spend time outdoors, and work on some hands on projects. 

About the Garden:  The garden with Mrs. O at Valle Verde is a science laboratory and nature exploration zone! The garden features raised beds, a weather station, and plenty of plants to study. The garden is host to Growing Healthy Kids outdoor garden class, taught by Garden Educator and STEAM Teacher Frith O'Steen to all grade levels TK - 5. The garden is a cared for Growing Healthy Kids staff, community members, and students. 

Help needed: At this work day, volunteers will:

• Weeding

• Other outdoor projects!
