Anna Ramos

Anna Ramos is a dedicated community advocate, educator, and mother of three, deeply rooted in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District (MDUSD) community. A proud alumna of Shore Acres Elementary, Riverview Middle School, and Mt. Diablo High School, Anna brings both lived and professional experience to her role as an advisor to Growing Healthy Kids.

Anna currently works within MDUSD and also manages the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) grant for Central Contra Costa County, supporting education and employment pathways for local youth. Since 2015, she has worked closely with opportunity youth as a case manager and program lead, helping young people overcome barriers and build brighter futures. With a background in child development, she is passionate about creating equitable, accessible opportunities that uplift families and strengthen communities.

She is inspired by the mission of Growing Healthy Kids to connect students with nature, wellness, and hands-on learning. In her free time, Anna enjoys exploring the outdoors with her children, traveling to new places, and listening to podcasts.
