Jose Olivas

Jose brings 15 years of executive experience in finance and operations, driving impact across nonprofits committed to social and economic justice. As Chief Financial and Operating Officer of Rise Economy, he oversaw strategic initiatives including the successful piloting of a multi-million dollar loan fund that serves historically disadvantaged low-income communities and communities of color throughout California. A lifelong advocate for learning and sustainability, Jose enjoys teaching his children the values of patience, stewardship, and growth through gardening.
