Marian Woodard has been at El Monte Elementary since 2016, and loves sharing science through the lens of a garden with students, teachers, and staff. She comes to the school because of a background of co-founding and co-directing Rodgers Ranch Urban Farm in Pleasant Hill, as well as being a Master Gardener, Master Composter, and a devotee of Permaculture. While her corporate career took her to 4 continents and had her training 10,000 adults, teaching children is her life's calling.
