About the event:
Pacifica Garden Farm is an educational and ecological site Growing Healthy Kids is developing in the heart of Bay Point on a one acre plot at Rio Vista Elementary School. With the help of community members and volunteers like you, our team is cultivating a diverse agro ecosystem yielding year-round fruits and flowers for neighbors and students to enjoy. We host ‘Field Trips to the Farm’ throughout the school year for elementary school students. The site plan was designed by GHK Lead Farmer & Ecological Designer Jorge Espinosa, responding to the community’s stated goals of ecological food production, habitat restoration and outdoor learning.
